Wallan Station

Wallan is a railway station on the North East railway serving the town of Wallan, Victoria, Australia. Wallan station is manned part-time and is located at the northern end of the Wallan-Whittlesea Road level crossing. The Melbourne - Sydney standard gauge line is adjacent to the station, as is a crossing loop.

Facilities

The station consists of two side platforms. Platform 1 has a large shelter, while platform 2 backs onto a large weatherboard building with an enclosed waiting room, signal bay, and a Customer Service office inside. A work camp site is located at the station, whilst a disused shed is located on the UP platform. The station underwent refurbishment in 2007 as part of the Parkways program, with the car park being expanded.

Platforms and services

The station is primarily served by V/Line trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines, with no long distance trains to Albury stopping at the station.
